it has been a long time since I posted my journal. I even let my subscription expire. I plan to do better in the future. Hopefully I will be submitting some new dev's soon. I've got to go pay bills now so I will write more later.

It's about time I updated my journal! I guess I'm doing fairly well except for some back problems. I have good news. I entered an art contest for veterans at my local VA. I entered two photos and a fractal. One of my photos won first in it's category and the other won second. My fractal won first in it's category. The two first's will go to the next phase of judging to determine if they are good enough to go to the national's in California later this year. Wish me luck.

Some of my friends are aware that my Mother had been sick this year. She died Nov 22 on Thanksgiving. Except for my dog I am alone now for the first time in many years. That is going to take some getting use to. I might take some trips to visit relatives. I will let you know if I am going to be offline for a time. On a different note I have added a lot of new dev's to my gallery. Thanks to everyone who commeted or faved them.

I am up to 44 dev's now one of them a photo with my new Canon Rebel XTI. I hope to get better with the camera. It's been a while since I had a SLR camera. My Mother is getting better. I bought one of those inflatable pools 16' by 42" It's just big enough to have fun and get some exersise in. I decided if I was going to be stuck at the house most of the time I would make the most of it. Any help with my Canon would be greatly appreciated.
